Leading Change: a Model of Processes
The
Principally Speaking Network is designed to build a sustainable network of
professional support among principals, increasing knowledge and leadership
abilities that lead to higher levels of student achievement. It is composed of
principals from HuntsvilleCity, MadisonCity and MadisonCounty
that meet to enhance leadership skills and to network and learn from each
other, resulting in improved academic achievement for all students. The
Principally Speaking Network focuses on instruction–based issues, looking at
processes, products, and protocols.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
Objective
1: To
build a sustainable network of support and collaboration among school
principals.

assist participants in meeting the requirements of the Alabama Standards for
Instructional Leaders.
Objective

develop strategies for successful resolution of school leadership involving
critical issues
Who:
PSN is open to all principals, K-12, in HuntsvilleCitySchools, MadisonCountySchools,
and MadisonCitySchools.
Each meeting incorporates whole group and small group sessions by level-
elementary, middle, and high school.
